Charles Bébin, a private individual acting in a non-professional capacity under the name BebinC, who operates Compass, is not a registered investment adviser, broker-dealer, financial planner or fiduciary in any jurisdiction. Data sources and accuracy

Compass collects market and company data from these providers, from its servers (except company logos, which your browser loads itself):

• SEC EDGAR: filings, and financial statements from XBRL company facts.
• Yahoo Finance (through the open-source yahoo-finance2 library): quotes, price history, company profiles and statistics, analyst estimates and ratings, ownership, option chains and screens.
• Finnhub: real-time US quotes, company news, earnings calendar and estimates, analyst recommendations and peer groups.
• Tiingo: end-of-day prices when Yahoo is unavailable.
• FRED (Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis): interest rates, inflation, labour data and release dates.
• Polymarket: public prediction market data shown as supplementary context.
• logo.dev: company logos.

No representation or warranty is given about the completeness, accuracy, reliability or timeliness of this data. It may be delayed, restated, incomplete or wrong. Each figure shows its source and the time it was updated; stale figures are labelled.

Valuation models

The DCF, WACC, scenario, comparables and sensitivity tools produce hypothetical results from assumptions you choose or accept, including values filled in automatically from filings and market data.

• Model outputs, including fair values and implied prices, are not price targets, recommendations or forecasts.
• Small changes in inputs such as the discount rate or terminal growth can change results materially.
• Upside and downside figures are illustrative and must not be relied on for trading decisions.

AI filing summaries

Filing summaries are generated by AI models (Mistral, with Groq as a backup) from the text of public SEC filings. They can omit or misstate information. Each summary cites the filing and section it comes from; read the filing before acting.

Prediction markets

Prediction market probabilities reflect the trading of Polymarket participants, not the views of Compass or its operator. They are speculative and are not forecasts or investment guidance.

Research notes and shared notes

Research notes, price targets, conviction scores, theses and track records are written by users. They are private unless their author shares a public link. The operator does not review or endorse them and is not responsible for their content. A shared note is its author's opinion, not advice from Compass.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the operator disclaims all liability for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, including financial or investment losses, arising from your use of or reliance on any data, content, model or tool in the Service.
